We got a cold front this week. Yep, that's what the weather people have been calling it. Highs in the upper 70's/low 80's. And I'm rocking pants AND a sweater, people! We spent the majority of today at McKinney Falls hiking around and finding cool stuff. Like deer poop and snail shells. We stopped in the middle of the woods to sit on a rocky outcropping and eat our snack and while we were sitting there munching our raisins and listening to the birds, Jasper reached out and grabbed my hand. Just to hold it while he munched and listened. Best moment of the day.
Second best? When I was trying to load him and Bernice into the car he ran away from me back into the woods and yelled, "No, mama! My wanna keep hiking!" That's mah boy!
