Hanging in.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Cains and upon our return all of us promptly got sick. 

But back to our wonderful time:

 Jasper was very well taken care of and developed a not so small case of hero worship. 

 Travis and Carol were kind enough to watch Jasper for the day while Curtis and I explored the city. Jasper started to miss us, so Aidan wrote him some notes to bolster his spirits.

 I think the thing Jasper liked most about NYC (aside from his cousins) was all the trains. Here he is exhausted, and unwilling to part with Carol's umbrella on the subway.

An hour later, really enjoying the majestic beauty that is Grand Central Station. And p.s. how cute is Aidan in that Mario hat? He rocked it all day.

Can't thank the Cains enough for all of their generosity and hospitality. We sure do love you guys.

You would not be able to tell from this sweet smile that much of the last three days have been spent throwing tantrums like we have never seen before (like had to carry him to the car screaming, strap him in his car seat screaming, drive him all the way home, yes: screaming)and sleeping. Poor fella. 

Hope to be back up to full speed next week.
