Major EW of the day (hence the "ew face"): Jasper lost a toenail. I knew this day was coming... a couple of weeks ago he dropped one of his dad's tools on it and it turned a lovely shade of purple. The first gag worthy moment I have had as a parent that didn't involve some sort of diaper mishap. 

Fair warning: someone in our house is a multi-dipper. He can empty a tub of hummus with a single pita chip (we are still trying to come up with his super hero name for this skill)! Just a little something to remember the next time you feel like partaking in a hummus snack at our house. P.S. Curtis gets full blame for this habit. 

Yep, he's nearly two.  And easily frustrated. Notice the kicking legs. Also notice the contents of my purse spread on the floor behind him. I ran to the bathroom and came back to find him investigating chunks of my chap stick that he had spread on the floor. 

This dinosaur is his favorite sand toy because he can fill up its mouth with sand and then make puking noises as he dumps the sand back out of its mouth. No joke.
